|Because I can

I have never, ever, ever bought a pair of sunglasses. Been given, yes. Found, yes. Traded for, yes. Stolen, not on purpose (see found.)|
I need a pair badly. So, instead of going out and buying some, I am going to make some.
I have copper wire, I have lenses from goggles, I have lead-free silver solder.
I have the technology!
I am going to twist 120cm of copper wire bend a V in the middle, then I'm going to work my way around two eyes and out to the ears. No hinges, just one solid length of wire. Then I am going cover the surface of the wire with silver solder. For the lenses, I'll mount them with either copper hooks or rings (rings require drilling through the lenses, but they are plastic, so it's easy.)
I tried making a pair out of short lengths of wire with arms for ears and all the other little pieces, but until I have made a pair or two, I don't think I yet have the knack.
I'll post pictures later
